UA whole life. Two identities, one person — WHOLE.

Identity is a documentary photography project on drag culture and identity, produced in Porto, Portugal. 24 hours in the life of a Drag Queen from Porto — from everyday routine to the transformation into Natasha Semmynova — to show that a person can hold two identities without one diminishing the other, and to challenge the stigma surrounding drag culture.

The images follow a linear sequence, where the last leads back to the first, returning to the initial cycle.

This work was recognised at the international competition Make History Second Edition, selected among the 101 finalists for exhibition and publication in book form, in a competition with 2,398 photographers and 9,667 submitted works.
