Demonstration demanding amendment of Truth and Reconciliation Commission Act

Kathmandu. A sit-in was held demanding immediate correction of the erroneous provisions of the bill under consideration in Parliament to amend the transitional justice law.
On Friday, in front of the Kathmandu District Administration Office, the general conflict victims and human rights community demanded the government to immediately correct the erroneous provisions in the bill to amend the Transitional Judiciary Act. They said that the government has made serious crimes against humanity pardonable in the Transitional Judiciary Act.
